Workflow & Control Process
iQIntegrity adds workflow, process control and tasking actions to standard repair register principles.
It assists with the management of defects by leading the user through a workflow for the recording and update of repair information, with storage of supporting documents and pictures.

After defect creation or updates to status, your Onshore Integrity team will review the record and input the required course of action and assign this to another user or group of users.
The workflow, terminology, reports and search filters can all be tuned to suit your existing process during setup. A typical workflow might be:
- OIE generates new record in response to repair issue offshore
- Description and details recorded by OIE
- Defect and damage type and extent recorded with additional text, sketch or photo upload
- Wall thickness measurements recorded if relevant and thickness to retiral generated where possible, using OIE entered specifications
- OIE recommendations and comments recorded and new defect entered to system
- Onshore Integrity Engineering staff notified of new defect by email message
- Onshore assessment of findings entered, or request for Technical Authority input tasked
- Repair, Monitoring or other Tasks allocated as required, with completion dates or monitor frequency setting.
- Part numbers and work order numbers entered for replacements if known
- Onshore Integrity signs off defect at this time
- Updates to the status and tasks signed off by Onshore ‘owner’ over timeline
- Defect closed by OIE after verification of work
